Man I read this on the various blogspheres yesterday but waved it off...why? Cause a part of me did not what to believe it. Now out of all of the Dipset Members Julez Santana was and still is my favorite. His first album From Me To U released in 2003 did so so. It was unbalanced and needed more structure. But Mr.Santana was not down and out yet. He came back with What The Game's Been Missing! in 2005 and this one went platinum because he figured out what was missing from his first offering. Through mixtapes and various remixes his lyrics got better and he began to set himself above most of the Dipset crew (except for Jim Jones who was making power moves left and right). As Jim Jones and Juelz became more recognizable and relevant in the Dipset crew, Cam'Ron seemed to fade off due to a few unfocused albums, beef with both 50 Cent and Jay-Z, and a few scuffs with Jim and Juelz. As many of you might already have found out by now Cam'Ron sold Juelz Santana's recording contract off to Def Jam for (brace yourself) two milli, two milli, two milli, etc. (two million in non-Weezy terms) Juelz seems to rejoice in the fact that he is free from Dipset but still says there is no hard feelings. And has a joint venture with Def Jam already. Juelz Did admit that the trust he gave to Killa Cam had been abused, but there are still no hard feelings. Julez is already preparing a new mixtape, The Regan Era, and a new album, Born To Lose, Built To Win!!! He still has a project planned with Lil' Wayne last time I checked and is still cool with Jim Jones. Here is the official story:
